Rusty Phillippi

HR Director
IPEG, Inc.

Rusty joined IPEG as a Human Resources Manager in January 2020 and was quickly promoted to Human Resources Director in July of the same year.  His background includes over twenty-five years’ experience in the management and administration of Human Resources operations.

Prior to joining IPEG, he was a Human Resources Manager for Guardian Protection Services, one of the nation’s largest and most highly regarded security companies.  Before joining Guardian Protection Services, Rusty was the Human Resources Manager for Education Management Corporation, one of the largest providers of post-secondary education in North America.  During his tenure of 17 years there, he held numerous roles as HR Generalist, supporting the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Human Resources Manager supporting the organization as a corporate leader.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Marketing.  Rusty is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association.
